Beyond the Drug War in Mexico

This volume examines the persistent militarization of the drug war and its consequences for human rights and the rule of law, together with the functioning of freedom of expression, and hence democracy, in a climate of violence, and crucially, on how ordinary people engage with the effects of violence and insecurity within their communities.
